The lesson plans below are samples from my method book “Picking Progress”. These particular excerpts focus on scale building, music theory application, chord design and common transitions/progressions.

You will not find more detailed lesson plans than these. Guitar is not an easy instrument to play, but by carefully breaking down some of the basics as seen below, a deep understanding of how and why can be quickly developed and applied.
